This morning Room 3 sprinted over to the garden. I got a big surprise because the rain helped the garden heaps and heaps. The plants had grown! We have a black holy stretchy net and we put it over the garden. Sometimes the pukeko try to eat our plants.
I saw a worm on the dirt and it was skinny and long. Our garden is the best in the world!

Today all of our school went over by the pool. We had to sprint over there. Moggy and Leonard helped also some other men helped with the hangi too. Moggy and Leonard had to put iron on the fire so the hotness didn’t get out and they put a clean white sheet over it. Next they had a whole pile of dirt and they put it over because that helps the iron. I think that we should have a hangi because it is a celebration and I think it will be yum. Quyn

Pukeko are talented birds, their legs are red and white. Their beaks are just red. They are slow moving until you chase them. Quyn
